Redbird
Bluejay
Owl
Raven
current-2016
This series started like most of mine do, with investigation
into a dozen or so options-Birds-in this case; starting with
my attraction to the Redbird. I am still working on
these selected four... which I have concluded
are the most important to me--as icons.
I'm completing this group.

Picnic
Tables
current-2013
Consider the rich and universal symbolism of a table...
generally, and in this case, specifically-- a picnic table
with an invitation to take a moment for... whatever.
This series is currently 12 small paintings
(of about 20 originally planned)
and 6 large paintings
(2 still in progress)
so far.

Waterfalls
current-2000
This painting-- Twin Falls, 60 x 40 was started around 2001;
it was one of my earliest planned and it stayed in an
underpainted state until 2022, when I finally found
the time. But over time, of course my style and
approach evolved. Currently, my goal with the
Waterfalls is to return to my original intention-
larger paintings. Another objective is to
produce the smaller ones more directly.
We'll see.
